The Bridging Church exists for one reason — to take Christ to the forgotten ones. To the man sleeping under the bridge. To the woman locked behind prison walls. To the child on the street who has never heard that God knows their name. To the student in the school who needs more than an education — who needs an encounter with the living God.
We are not a conventional church. We go where most would not. We sit where most would not sit. We love who most would overlook. And we do it because Jesus did it first.
What we do flows through four expressions of one mission — Church Under The Bridge, Church In The Prison, Church On The Street, and Church In The Schools. Every week our teams go out across Lagos, bringing the Word, meeting physical needs, and watching lives transform before our eyes.
What you’ll find here — on this blog and in every update we send — are real stories from the field. No polished PR. Just honest reports of what God is doing among the forgotten ones of Lagos.
We believe the Church is most itself when it is most like Jesus — present with the poor, the broken, the imprisoned, and the lost.
