Why Schools Matter
Church In The Schools is the educational outreach arm of The Bridging Church, dedicated to bringing the message of Jesus Christ, mentorship, character formation, and hope to students within educational institutions.
We believe that some of the most important ministry opportunities exist among young people — before the challenges they face become lifelong cycles.
We believe the Church has a responsibility to engage the next generation before these challenges become lifelong cycles.
Gospel-Centred Engagement in Schools
We partner with educational institutions to provide more than a one-time event — we seek to establish an ongoing presence.
Gospel-Centred Teaching
Clear, age-appropriate proclamation of the message of Jesus Christ — presented in a way that connects with young people's real experiences.
Character Development
Values-based programs addressing integrity, responsibility, respect, and purpose — equipping students for life beyond school.
Mentorship & Guidance
One-to-one and small group mentorship connecting students with positive adult role models who invest in their development.
Prayer & Counselling
A safe space for students to receive prayer, pastoral care, and emotional support for personal challenges.
Student Leadership
Identifying and developing young leaders from within each school — students who can positively influence their peers.
Follow-Up Discipleship
Ongoing engagement beyond school visits, connecting students to the broader Bridging Church community for continued growth.
Where We Are Today
Church In The Schools is the newest of our four ministry arms, and it is already producing fruit. With one active school partnership, we have reached approximately 500 students — and this is only the beginning.
