Church Under The Bridge

Church Under The Bridge is the original expression of The Bridging Church, born on July 14, 2024, beneath Jakande Bridge in Lagos. Rather than asking people to come to us, we bring the Church to them — weekly, consistently, faithfully — under bridges and in the environments where our community actually lives. Today we are active at two locations: Jakande–Lekki and Pen Cinema, Agege.

🔑 Bringing Hope Behind the Walls

Church In The Prison

Church In The Prison reaches incarcerated men and women across four correctional facilities in Lagos State — Kirikiri Medium, Kirikiri Maximum, Kirikiri Female, and Ikoyi Custodial Centre. Since September 2024, we have conducted 222 documented visits, reaching an estimated 3,500–5,000 unique inmates through worship, teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and reintegration support.

🛤️ Taking the Gospel Beyond the Church Walls

Church On The Street

Church On The Street is our mobile evangelistic outreach arm — pursuing communities in markets, bus stops, neighbourhoods, parks, and public spaces across Lagos. While Church Under The Bridge gathers a community, Church On The Street pursues the community — advancing into new territory and creating first encounters with the Gospel. We have conducted approximately 20 organized outreach campaigns across Iyana Ipaja, Agege, Oshodi, Jakande–Lekki, and General Paint, Lekki.

📚 Reaching the Next Generation

Church In The Schools

Church In The Schools is our educational outreach arm, partnering with educational institutions to bring Gospel-centred teaching, mentorship, character development, and student leadership to young people. The values and beliefs shaped in young people today often determine the direction of their lives tomorrow — and we believe the Church has a responsibility to be present in that formation. Currently active in one school with approximately 500 students reached, we aim to expand to 10 schools by 2027.
